BAN ¹² Et il arriva que, comme il était dans une des villes, voici un homme couvert de lèpre. Et, voyant Jésus, il tomba sur sa face et le pria disant : Seigneur, si tu le veux, tu peux me purifier.

KJV ¹² And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

BAN ¹³ Et étendant la main, Jésus le toucha, disant : Je le veux, sois purifié. Et aussitôt la lèpre le quitta.

KJV ¹³ And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

BAN ¹⁴ Et il lui commanda de ne le dire à personne : Mais va, lui dit-il, montre-toi au sacrificateur, et offre pour ta purification selon que Moïse a commandé, afin que cela leur serve de témoignage.

KJV ¹⁴ And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

BAN ¹⁵ Et sa renommée se répandait de plus en plus, et des foules nombreuses s'assemblaient pour l'entendre et pour être guéries de leurs maladies.

KJV ¹⁵ But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

BAN ¹⁶ Mais lui se retirait dans les déserts et priait.

KJV ¹⁶ And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

BAN ¹⁷ Et il arriva un de ces jours que Jésus enseignait, et des pharisiens et des docteurs de la loi, qui étaient venus de tous les bourgs de la Galilée et de la Judée, et de Jérusalem, étaient là assis. Et une puissance du Seigneur s'exerçait pour qu'il guérît.

KJV ¹⁷ And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

BAN ¹⁸ Et voici des hommes portant sur un lit un homme qui était paralysé ; et ils cherchaient à le faire entrer et à le déposer devant lui.

KJV ¹⁸ And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

BAN ¹⁹ Et ne trouvant par où le faire entrer à cause de la foule, ils montèrent sur la maison et le descendirent par les tuiles avec le petit lit, au milieu, devant Jésus.

KJV ¹⁹ And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

BAN ²⁰ Et ayant vu leur foi, il lui dit : homme ! tes péchés te sont pardonnés.

KJV ²⁰ And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

BAN ²¹ Et les scribes et les pharisiens se mirent à raisonner, disant : Qui est celui-ci qui prononce des blasphèmes ? Qui peut pardonner les péchés, si ce n'est Dieu seul ?

KJV ²¹ And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

BAN ²² Mais Jésus connaissant leurs pensées, répondit et leur dit : Pourquoi raisonnez-vous dans vos coeurs ?

KJV ²² But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

BAN ²³ Lequel est le plus aisé, de dire : Tes péchés te sont pardonnés, ou de dire : Lève-toi et marche ?

KJV ²³ Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

BAN ²⁴ Or, afin que vous sachiez que le fils de l'homme a sur la terre le pouvoir de pardonner les péchés : Je te dis (dit-il au paralytique), lève-toi, et, prenant ton petit lit, va dans ta maison.

KJV ²⁴ But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

BAN ²⁵ Et à l'instant, s'étant levé en leur présence, ayant pris le lit sur lequel il avait été couché, il s'en alla en sa maison, glorifiant Dieu.

KJV ²⁵ And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

BAN ²⁶ Et l'étonnement les saisit tous et ils glorifiaient Dieu ; et ils furent remplis de crainte, disant : Nous avons vu des choses étranges aujourd'hui !

KJV ²⁶ And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
