BCC ¹ Comme ils approchaient de Jérusalem, vers Betphagé et Béthanie, près du mont des Oliviers, Jésus envoya deux de ses disciples,

KJV ¹ And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,

BCC ² leur disant : "allez au village qui est en face vous ; aussitôt que vous y serez entrés, vous trouverez un ânon attaché, sur lequel aucun homme ne s'est encore assis : détachez-le et amenez-le.

KJV ² And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

BCC ³ Et si quelqu'un vous dit : que faites-vous là ?" dites : "le Seigneur en a besoin, mais bientôt, il le renverra ici."

KJV ³ And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

BCC ⁴ Ils s'en allèrent et trouvèrent un ânon attaché à une porte, au dehors, au carrefour, et ils le détachèrent.

KJV ⁴ And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

BCC ⁵ Quelques-uns de ceux qui se tenaient là leur dirent : "que faites-vous de détacher l'ânon ?"

KJV ⁵ And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

BCC ⁶ Mais eux dirent comme Jésus avait dit, et on les laissa (faire).

KJV ⁶ And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

BCC ⁷ Et ils amènent l'ânon à Jésus, et ils mettent par-dessus leurs manteaux ; et Jésus s'assit sur lui.

KJV ⁷ And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

BCC ⁸ Un grand nombre étendirent leurs manteaux sur le chemin ; d'autres, des branchages, qu'ils avaient coupés dans les champs.

KJV ⁸ And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

BCC ⁹ Et ceux qui allaient devant et ceux qui suivaient criaient : "Hosanna ! Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur !

KJV ⁹ And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

BCC ¹⁰ Béni soit le règne de notre père David ! Hosanna au plus haut des cieux ! "

KJV ¹⁰ Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

BCC ¹¹ Et il entra à Jérusalem, dans le temple ; et, après avoir jeté un regard circulaire sur tout, comme déjà l'heure était avancée, il sortit et s'en alla à Béthanie avec les Douze.
