Mt 17-19 (Catholique Crampon)

¹ Six jours après, Jésus prend avec lui Pierre, Jacques et Jean son frère, et il les emmène à l'écart sur une haute montagne ² Et il se transfigura devant eux : son visage resplendit comme le soleil, et ses vêtements devinrent blancs comme la lumière. ³ Et voilà que Moïse et Élie leur apparurent, conversant avec lui. ⁴ Prenant la parole, Pierre dit à Jésus : "Seigneur, il nous est bon d'être ici ; si vous le voulez, je ferai ici trois tentes, une pour vous, une pour Moïse et une pour Élie." ⁵ Il parlait encore, lorsqu'une nuée lumineuse les couvrit, et voilà que du sein de la nuée une voix dit : "Celui-ci est mon Fils bien-aimé, en qui j'ai mis mes complaisances : écoutez-le." ⁶ En entendant, les disciples tombèrent la face contre terre et furent saisis d'une grande frayeur. ⁷ Et Jésus, s'approchant, les toucha et dit : "levez-vous, ne craignez point." ⁸ Levant les yeux, ils ne virent plus que Jésus seul. ⁹ Comme ils descendaient de la montagne, Jésus leur fit ce commandement : "ne parlez à personne de cette vision, jusqu'à ce que le Fils de l'homme soit ressuscité des morts." ¹⁰ Les disciples l'interrogèrent, disant : "pourquoi donc les scribes disent-ils qu'il faut qu'Élie vienne d'abord ?" ¹¹ Il répondit : "Élie vient en effet, et il restaurera toutes choses. ¹² Mais je vous dis qu'Élie est déjà venu ; et ils ne l'ont pas reconnu, mais ils l'on traité comme ils ont voulu. De même le Fils de l'homme doit souffrir par eux." ¹³ Les disciples comprirent alors qu'il leur avait parlé de Jean le Baptiste. ¹⁴ Quand ils furent arrivés près de la foule, un homme s'approcha de lui et, tombant à genoux devant lui, dit : ¹⁵ "Seigneur, ayez pitié de mon fils, car il est lunatique et il est bien mal : en effet il tombe souvent dans le feu et souvent dans l'eau. ¹⁶ Je l'ai amené à vos disciples, et ils n'ont pas pu le guérir." ¹⁷ Jésus répondit : "ô génération incrédule et perverse, jusques à quand serai-je avec vous ? Jusques à quand vous supporterai-je ? Amenez-le-moi ici." ¹⁸ Et Jésus lui commanda avec force, et le démon sortit de lui, et l'enfant fut guéri à l'heure même. ¹⁹ Alors les disciples vinrent trouver Jésus, en particulier, et dirent :" Pourquoi n'avons-nous pas pu le chasser ?" ²⁰ Il leur dit : "à cause de votre manque de foi. En vérité, je vous le dis, si vous avez de la foi comme un grain de sénevé, vous direz à cette montagne : passe d'ici là, et elle y passera, et rien ne vous sera impossible. ²¹ Mais ce genre (de démon) n'est chassé que par la prière et le jeûne." ²² Comme ils étaient groupés en Galilée, Jésus leur dit : "le Fils de l'homme doit être livré entre les mains des hommes, ²³ et ils le mettront à mort, et il ressuscitera le troisième jour. "Et ils furent vivement attristés. ²⁴ Lorsqu'ils furent arrivés à Capharnaüm, ceux qui recueillaient les didrachmes s'approchèrent de Pierre et dirent : "votre Maître ne paie-t-il pas les didrachmes ?" ²⁵ Il dit : "si." Et quand il entra dans la maison, Jésus le prévint disant : "que t'en semble, Simon ? De qui les rois de la terre perçoivent-ils taxes ou impôt ? De leurs fils ou des étrangers ?" ²⁶ Comme il disait : "des étrangers," Jésus lui dit : "les fils en sont donc exempts. ²⁷ Mais pour ne pas les scandaliser, va à la mer, jette l'hameçon, tire le premier poisson qui montera ; puis, lui ouvrant la bouche, tu y trouveras un statère ; prends-le et donne-le-leur pour moi et pour toi."

Matthieu 18

¹ En ce moment-là, les disciples s'approchèrent de Jésus et dirent : " Qui donc est le plus grand dans le royaume des cieux ?" ² Alors ayant fait venir un enfant, il le plaça au milieu d'eux ³ et dit : "Je vous le dis, en vérité, si vous ne changez et ne devenez comme les enfants, vous n'entrerez point dans le royaume des cieux. ⁴ Celui donc qui se fera humble comme ce petit enfant est le plus grand dans le royaume des cieux. ⁵ Et celui qui reçoit en mon nom un enfant comme celui-ci, c'est moi qu'il reçoit. ⁶ Mais celui qui scandalisera un de ces petits qui croient en moi, mieux vaudrait pour lui qu'on lui suspende une meule à âne autour de cou et qu'on le précipite au fond de la mer. ⁷ Malheur au monde à cause des scandales ! C'est une nécessité qu'il arrive des scandales ; mais malheur à l'homme par qui le scandale arrive ! ⁸ Si ta main ou ton pied est pour toi une occasion de chute, coupe-le et jette-le loin de toi : il vaut mieux pour toi entrer dans la vie manchot ou boiteux, que d'être jeté, ayant deux mains ou deux pieds, dans le feu éternel. ⁹ Et si ton oeil est pour toi une occasion de chute, arrache-le et jette-le loin de toi ; il vaut mieux pour toi entrer borgne dans la vie, que d'être jeté, ayant deux yeux, dans la géhenne du feu. ¹⁰ Prenez garde de mépriser aucun de ces petits, car je vous dis que leurs anges dans les cieux voient sans cesse la face de mon Père qui est dans les cieux. ¹¹ Car le Fils de l'homme est venu sauver ce qui était perdu. ¹² Que vous en semble ? Si un homme a cent brebis, et qu'une d'elles vienne à s'égarer, ne laissera-t-il pas sur les montagnes les quatre-vingt-dix-neuf autres pour aller à la recherche de celle qui s'est égarée ? ¹³ Et s'il lui arrive de la retrouver, je vous le dis en vérité, il a plus de joie pour elle que pour les quatre-vingt-dix-neuf qui ne se sont pas égarées. ¹⁴ De même, n'est-ce pas la volonté de votre Père qui est dans les cieux, qu'il ne se perde pas un seul de ces petits ? ¹⁵ Si ton frère a péché contre toi, va reprends-le entre toi et lui seul ; s'il t'écoute, tu auras gagné ton frère. ¹⁶ S'il ne t'écoute pas, prends avec toi encore une ou deux (personnes), afin que toute chose se décide sur la parole de deux ou trois témoins. ¹⁷ S'il ne les écoute pas, dis-le à l'Eglise ; et s'il n'écoute pas même l'Eglise, qu'il soit pour toi comme le païen et le publicain. ¹⁸ En vérité, je vous le dis, tout ce que vous lierez sur la terre sera lié dans le ciel et tout ce que vous délierez sur la terre sera délié dans le ciel. ¹⁹ Encore, en vérité, je vous le dis : Si deux d'entre vous sont d'accord pour demander sur terre une chose quelconque, ils l'obtiendront de mon Père qui est dans les cieux. ²⁰ Car où deux ou trois sont assemblés en mon nom, je suis là au milieu d'eux. ²¹ Alors Pierre s'approchant lui dit : "Seigneur, si mon frère pèche contre moi, combien de fois lui pardonnerai-je ? Jusqu'à sept fois ?" ²² Jésus lui dit : "Je ne te dis pas jusqu'à sept fois, mais jusqu'à septante fois sept fois. ²³ C'est pourquoi le royaume des cieux est semblable à un roi qui voulu régler ses comptes avec ses serviteurs. ²⁴ Quand il se mit à régler les comptes, on lui amena un débiteur de dix mille talents. ²⁵ Comme il n'avait pas de quoi payer, son maître ordonna qu'on le vendît, lui, sa femme, ses enfants et tout ce qu'il avait pour que paiement fût fait. ²⁶ Alors le serviteur, tombé à ses pieds, demeurait prosterné, disant : "Seigneur, aie patience envers moi, et je te paierai tout." ²⁷ Touché de compassion, le maître de ce serviteur le laissa aller et lui remit sa dette. ²⁸ Ce serviteur, à peine sorti, rencontra un de ses compagnons de service, qui lui devait cent deniers. L'ayant saisi à la gorge, il l'étouffait, disant : "paie ce que tu dois." ²⁹ Son compagnon de service, tombé à ses pieds, le suppliait, disant : " Aie patience envers moi, et je te paierai." ³⁰ Mai lui ne voulait pas, et il s'en alla le faire mettre en prison jusqu'à ce qu'il eût payé sa dette. ³¹ Ce que voyant, ses compagnons de service furent grandement contristés, et ils vinrent raconter à leur maître ce qui s'était passé. ³² Alors le maître le fit appeler et lui dit : "serviteur méchant, je t'ai remis toute cette dette, parce que tu m'as supplié. ³³ Ne devais-tu pas, toi aussi, avoir pitié de ton compagnon de service, comme moi-même j'ai eu pitié de toi ?" ³⁴ Et son maître irrité le livra aux bourreaux, jusqu'à ce qu'il eût payé toute sa dette. ³⁵ Ainsi vous traitera mon Père céleste, si chacun de vous ne pardonne à son frère du fond du coeur."

Matthieu 19

¹ Or, quand Jésus eut achevé ces discours, il quitta la Galilée et vint dans le territoire de la Judée, au delà du Jourdain. ² Des foules nombreuses le suivirent, et là il guérit leurs malades. ³ Des Pharisiens l'abordèrent pour le mettre à l'épreuve, et dirent : "est-il permis à l'homme de répudier sa femme pour quelque motif que ce soit ?" ⁴ Il répondit : "n'avez-vous pas lu que celui qui (les créa), au commencement, les fit mâle et femelle, ⁵ et qu'il dit : à cause de cela, l'homme quittera son père et sa mère, et s'attachera à sa femme, et les deux deviendront une seule chair ? ⁶ Ainsi ils ne sont plus deux, mais une seule chair. Que l'homme ne sépare donc pas ce que Dieu a uni !" ⁷ Ils lui dirent : "pourquoi donc Moïse a-t-il prescrit de donner un acte de divorce et de la répudier ? " ⁸ Il leur dit : "c'est à cause de votre dureté de coeur que Moïse vous a permis de répudier vos femmes : mais, au commencement, il n'en fut pas ainsi. ⁹ Or je vous dis que celui qui répudie sa femme, si ce n'est pour adultère, et en épouse une autre, commet un adultère." ¹⁰ Ses disciples lui dirent : "si telle est la condition de l'homme avec sa femme, mieux vaut ne pas se marier." ¹¹ Mais il leur dit : "tous ne comprennent pas cette parole, mais ceux à qui cela a été donné. ¹² Car il y a des eunuques qui sont venus tels du sein de leur mère ; il y a aussi des eunuques qui le sont devenus par le fait des hommes ; et il y a des eunuques qui se sont faits eunuques eux-mêmes à cause du royaume des cieux. Que celui qui peut comprendre, comprenne ! " ¹³ Alors on lui amena de petits enfants pour qu'il leur imposât les mains et priât (pour eux). Or les disciples les gourmandèrent. ¹⁴ Mais Jésus leur dit : "paissez les petits enfants, et ne les empêchez pas de venir à moi, car le royaume des cieux est à ceux qui leur ressemblent." ¹⁵ Et, leur ayant imposé les mains, il partit de là. ¹⁶ Et voici que quelqu'un, l'abordant, dit : "Maître, que dois-je faire de bon pour avoir la vie éternelle ?" ¹⁷ Il lui dit : "pourquoi m'interroges-tu sur (ce qui est) bon ? Un seul est le bon. Que si tu veux entrer dans la vie, observe les commandements." ¹⁸ Il lui dit : " Lesquels ? " Jésus dit : "c'est : tu ne tueras point ; tu ne commettras point l'adultère ; tu ne déroberas point ; tu ne porteras point de faux témoignage ; ¹⁹ honore ton père et ta mère, et : tu aimeras ton proche comme toi-même." ²⁰ Le jeune homme : "j'ai observé tous ces (commandements) ; que me manque-t-il encore ?" ²¹ Jésus lui dit : "si tu veux être parfait, va, vends ce que tu possèdes, donne-le aux pauvres, et tu auras un trésor dans les cieux ; puis, viens et suis-moi." ²² Lorsqu'il eut entendu cette parole, le jeune homme s'en alla attristé, car il avait de grands biens. ²³ Et Jésus dit à ses disciples : "Je vous le dis en vérité, difficilement un riche entrera dans le royaume des cieux. ²⁴ Je vous le dis, il est plus aisé pour un chameau d'entrer par le trou d'une aiguille, que pour un riche d'entrer dans le royaume de Dieu." ²⁵ En entendant (ces paroles), les disciples étaient fort étonnés, et ils dirent : "qui peut donc être sauvé ?" ²⁶ Et Jésus, les yeux fixés (sur eux), leur dit : "cela est impossible aux hommes, mais tout est possible à Dieu." ²⁷ Alors Pierre, prenant la parole, lui dit : "voici que nous avons tout quitté pour vous suivre ; qu'en sera-t-il donc pour nous ? " ²⁸ Jésus leur dit : "Je vous le dis en vérité, lorsque, au renouvellement, le Fils de l'homme siégera sur son trône de gloire, vous qui m'avez suivi, vous siégerez vous aussi sur douze trônes, et vous jugerez les douze tribus d'Israël. ²⁹ Et quiconque aura quitté maisons, ou frères, ou soeurs, ou père, ou mère, ou enfants, ou champs, à cause de mon nom, il recevra le centuple et aura la vie éternelle en possession. " ³⁰ "Et beaucoup de premiers seront derniers, et beaucoup de derniers premiers.

   ¹ And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, ² And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. ³ And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. ⁴ Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. ⁵ While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. ⁶ And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. ⁷ And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. ⁸ And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. ⁹ And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. ¹⁰ And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? ¹¹ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. ¹² But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. ¹³ Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
   ¹⁴ And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, ¹⁵ Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. ¹⁶ And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. ¹⁷ Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. ¹⁸ And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. ¹⁹ Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? ²⁰ And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. ²¹ Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
   ²² And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: ²³ And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
   ²⁴ And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? ²⁵ He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? ²⁶ Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. ²⁷ Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Matthieu 18

   ¹ At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? ² And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, ³ And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. ⁴ Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. ⁵ And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. ⁶ But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
   ⁷ Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! ⁸ Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. ⁹ And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. ¹⁰ Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. ¹¹ For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. ¹² How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? ¹³ And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. ¹⁴ Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
   ¹⁵ Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. ¹⁶ But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. ¹⁷ And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. ¹⁸ Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. ¹⁹ Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. ²⁰ For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
   ²¹ Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? ²² Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. ²³ Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. ²⁴ And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. ²⁵ But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. ²⁶ The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. ²⁷ Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. ²⁸ But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. ²⁹ And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. ³⁰ And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. ³¹ So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. ³² Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: ³³ Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? ³⁴ And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. ³⁵ So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Matthieu 19

   ¹ And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan; ² And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
   ³ The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? ⁴ And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, ⁵ And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? ⁶ Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. ⁷ They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? ⁸ He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. ⁹ And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. ¹⁰ His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry. ¹¹ But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. ¹² For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
   ¹³ Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. ¹⁴ But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. ¹⁵ And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
   ¹⁶ And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? ¹⁷ And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. ¹⁸ He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, ¹⁹ Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. ²⁰ The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? ²¹ Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. ²² But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
   ²³ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. ²⁴ And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. ²⁵ When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? ²⁶ But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. ²⁷ Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? ²⁸ And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. ²⁹ And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. ³⁰ But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

   ¹ καὶ μεθ᾽ ἡμέρας ἓξ παραλαμβάνει ὁ ἰησοῦς τὸν πέτρον καὶ ἰάκωβον καὶ ἰωάννην τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀναφέρει αὐτοὺς εἰς ὄρος ὑψηλὸν κατ᾽ ἰδίαν ² καὶ μετεμορφώθη ἔμπροσθεν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔλαμψεν τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ὡς ὁ ἥλιος τὰ δὲ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο λευκὰ ὡς τὸ φῶς ³ καὶ ἰδού ὤφθησαν αὐτοῖς μωσῆς καὶ ἠλίας μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ συλλαλοῦντες ⁴ ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ πέτρος εἰπεν τῷ ἰησοῦ κύριε καλόν ἐστιν ἡμᾶς ὧδε εἶναι εἰ θέλεις ποιήσωμεν ὧδε τρεῖς σκηνάς σοὶ μίαν καὶ μωσῇ μίαν καὶ μίαν ἠλίᾳ ⁵ ἔτι αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος ἰδού νεφέλη φωτεινὴ ἐπεσκίασεν αὐτούς καὶ ἰδού φωνὴ ἐκ τῆς νεφέλης λέγουσα οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ υἱός μου ὁ ἀγαπητός ἐν ᾧ εὐδόκησα αὐτοῦ ἀκούετε ⁶ καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ μαθηταὶ ἔπεσον ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν σφόδρα ⁷ καὶ προσελθὼν ὁ ἰησοῦς ἥψατο αὐτῶν καὶ εἶπεν ἐγέρθητε καὶ μὴ φοβεῖσθε ⁸ ἐπάραντες δὲ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῶν οὐδένα εἶδον εἰ μὴ τὸν ἰησοῦν μόνον ⁹ καὶ καταβαινόντων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς ὁ ἰησοῦς λέγων μηδενὶ εἴπητε τὸ ὅραμα ἕως οὗ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκ νεκρῶν ἀναστῇ ¹⁰ καὶ ἐπηρώτησαν αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ λέγοντες τί οὖν οἱ γραμματεῖς λέγουσιν ὅτι ἠλίαν δεῖ ἐλθεῖν πρῶτον ¹¹ ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ἠλίας μὲν ἔρχεται πρῶτον καὶ ἀποκαταστήσει πάντα ¹² λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι ἠλίας ἤδη ἦλθεν καὶ οὐκ ἐπέγνωσαν αὐτὸν ἀλλ᾽ ἐποίησαν ἐν αὐτῷ ὅσα ἠθέλησαν οὕτως καὶ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου μέλλει πάσχειν ὑπ᾽ αὐτῶν ¹³ τότε συνῆκαν οἱ μαθηταὶ ὅτι περὶ ἰωάννου τοῦ βαπτιστοῦ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ¹⁴ καὶ ἐλθόντων αὐτῶν πρὸς τὸν ὄχλον προσῆλθεν αὐτῷ ἄνθρωπος γονυπετῶν αὐτῷ καὶ λέγων ¹⁵ κύριε ἐλέησόν μου τὸν υἱόν ὅτι σεληνιάζεται καὶ κακῶς πάσχει πολλάκις γὰρ πίπτει εἰς τὸ πῦρ καὶ πολλάκις εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ ¹⁶ καὶ προσήνεγκα αὐτὸν τοῖς μαθηταῖς σου καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν αὐτὸν θεραπεῦσαι ¹⁷ ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν ὦ γενεὰ ἄπιστος καὶ διεστραμμένη ἕως πότε ἔσομαι μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἕως πότε ἀνέξομαι ὑμῶν φέρετέ μοι αὐτὸν ὧδε ¹⁸ καὶ ἐπετίμησεν αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ τὸ δαιμόνιον καὶ ἐθεραπεύθη ὁ παῖς ἀπὸ τῆς ὥρας ἐκείνης ¹⁹ τότε προσελθόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ τῷ ἰησοῦ κατ᾽ ἰδίαν εἶπον διατί ἡμεῖς οὐκ ἠδυνήθημεν ἐκβαλεῖν αὐτό ²⁰ ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς διὰ τὴν ἀπιστίαν ὑμῶν ἀμὴν γὰρ λέγω ὑμῖν ἐὰν ἔχητε πίστιν ὡς κόκκον σινάπεως ἐρεῖτε τῷ ὄρει τούτῳ μετάβηθι ἔντεῦθεν ἐκεῖ καὶ μεταβήσεται καὶ οὐδὲν ἀδυνατήσει ὑμῖν ²¹ τοῦτο δὲ τὸ γένος οὐκ ἐκπορεύεται εἰ μὴ ἐν προσευχῇ καὶ νηστείᾳ ²² ἀναστρεφομένων δὲ αὐτῶν ἐν τῇ γαλιλαίᾳ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ ἰησοῦς μέλλει ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου παραδίδοσθαι εἰς χεῖρας ἀνθρώπων ²³ καὶ ἀποκτενοῦσιν αὐτόν καὶ τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρᾳ ἐγερθήσεται καὶ ἐλυπήθησαν σφόδρα ²⁴ ἐλθόντων δὲ αὐτῶν εἰς καπερναούμ προσῆλθον οἱ τὰ δίδραχμα λαμβάνοντες τῷ πέτρῳ καὶ εἶπον ὁ διδάσκαλος ὑμῶν οὐ τελεῖ τὰ δίδραχμα ²⁵ λέγει ναί καὶ ὅτε εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν προέφθασεν αὐτὸν ὁ ἰησοῦς λέγων τί σοι δοκεῖ σίμων οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς ἀπὸ τίνων λαμβάνουσιν τέλη ἢ κῆνσον ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν αὐτῶν ἢ ἀπὸ τῶν ἀλλοτρίων ²⁶ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ πέτρος ἀπὸ τῶν ἀλλοτρίων ἔφη αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς ἄραγε ἐλεύθεροί εἰσιν οἱ υἱοί ²⁷ ἵνα δὲ μὴ σκανδαλίσωμεν αὐτούς πορευθεὶς εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν βάλε ἄγκιστρον καὶ τὸν ἀναβάντα πρῶτον ἰχθὺν ἆρον καὶ ἀνοίξας τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ εὑρήσεις στατῆρα ἐκεῖνον λαβὼν δὸς αὐτοῖς ἀντὶ ἐμοῦ καὶ σοῦ

   ¹ ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ὥρᾳ προσῆλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ τῷ ἰησοῦ λέγοντες τίς ἄρα μείζων ἐστὶν ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν ² καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος ὁ ἰησοῦς παιδίον ἔστησεν αὐτὸ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν ³ καὶ εἶπεν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ἐὰν μὴ στραφῆτε καὶ γένησθε ὡς τὰ παιδία οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν ⁴ ὅστις οὖν ταπεινώσῃ ἑαυτὸν ὡς τὸ παιδίον τοῦτο οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ μείζων ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν ⁵ καὶ ὃς ἐὰν δέξηται παιδίον τοιοῦτον ἓν ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου ἐμὲ δέχεται ⁶ ὃς δ᾽ ἂν σκανδαλίσῃ ἕνα τῶν μικρῶν τούτων τῶν πιστευόντων εἰς ἐμέ συμφέρει αὐτῷ ἵνα κρεμασθῇ μύλος ὀνικὸς ἐπὶ τὸν τράχηλον αὐτοῦ καὶ καταποντισθῇ ἐν τῷ πελάγει τῆς θαλάσσης ⁷ οὐαὶ τῷ κόσμῳ ἀπὸ τῶν σκανδάλων ἀνάγκη γάρ ἐστιν ἐλθεῖν τὰ σκάνδαλα πλὴν οὐαὶ τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ἐκείνῳ δι᾽ οὗ τὸ σκάνδαλον ἔρχεται ⁸ εἰ δὲ ἡ χείρ σου ἢ ὁ πούς σου σκανδαλίζει σε ἔκκοψον αὐτὰ καὶ βάλε ἀπὸ σοῦ καλόν σοι ἐστὶν εἰσελθεῖν εἰς τὴν ζωὴν χωλόν ἢ κυλλόν ἢ δύο χεῖρας ἢ δύο πόδας ἔχοντα βληθῆναι εἰς τὸ πῦρ τὸ αἰώνιον ⁹ καὶ εἰ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου σκανδαλίζει σε ἔξελε αὐτὸν καὶ βάλε ἀπὸ σοῦ καλόν σοι ἐστὶν μονόφθαλμον εἰς τὴν ζωὴν εἰσελθεῖν ἢ δύο ὀφθαλμοὺς ἔχοντα βληθῆναι εἰς τὴν γέενναν τοῦ πυρός ¹⁰ ὁρᾶτε μὴ καταφρονήσητε ἑνὸς τῶν μικρῶν τούτων λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτῶν ἐν οὐρανοῖς διὰ παντὸς βλέπουσιν τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς ¹¹ ἦλθεν γὰρ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου σῶσαι τὸ ἀπολωλός ¹² τί ὑμῖν δοκεῖ ἐὰν γένηταί τινι ἀνθρώπῳ ἑκατὸν πρόβατα καὶ πλανηθῇ ἓν ἐξ αὐτῶν οὐχὶ ἀφεῖς τὰ ἐννενήκονταεννέα ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη πορευθεὶς ζητεῖ τὸ πλανώμενον ¹³ καὶ ἐὰν γένηται εὑρεῖν αὐτό ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι χαίρει ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ μᾶλλον ἢ ἐπὶ τοῖς ἐννενηκονταεννέα τοῖς μὴ πεπλανημένοις ¹⁴ οὕτως οὐκ ἔστιν θέλημα ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ πατρὸς ὑμῶν τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς ἵνα ἀπόληται εἲς τῶν μικρῶν τούτων ¹⁵ ἐὰν δὲ ἁμαρτήσῃ εἰς σὲ ὁ ἀδελφός σου ὕπαγε καὶ ἔλεγξον αὐτὸν μεταξὺ σοῦ καὶ αὐτοῦ μόνου ἐάν σου ἀκούσῃ ἐκέρδησας τὸν ἀδελφόν σου ¹⁶ ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀκούσῃ παράλαβε μετὰ σοῦ ἔτι ἕνα ἢ δύο ἵνα ἐπὶ στόματος δύο μαρτύρων ἢ τριῶν σταθῇ πᾶν ῥῆμα ¹⁷ ἐὰν δὲ παρακούσῃ αὐτῶν εἰπὲ τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ ἐὰν δὲ καὶ τῆς ἐκκλησίας παρακούσῃ ἔστω σοι ὥσπερ ὁ ἐθνικὸς καὶ ὁ τελώνης ¹⁸ ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅσα ἐὰν δήσητε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἔσται δεδεμένα ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ὅσα ἐὰν λύσητε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἔσται λελυμένα ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ¹⁹ πάλιν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐὰν δύο ὑμῶν συμφωνήσωσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς περὶ παντὸς πράγματος οὗ ἐὰν αἰτήσωνται γενήσεται αὐτοῖς παρὰ τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς ²⁰ οὗ γάρ εἰσιν δύο ἢ τρεῖς συνηγμένοι εἰς τὸ ἐμὸν ὄνομα ἐκεῖ εἰμι ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν ²¹ τότε προσελθὼν αὐτῷ ὁ πέτρος εἶπεν κύριε ποσάκις ἁμαρτήσει εἰς ἐμὲ ὁ ἀδελφός μου καὶ ἀφήσω αὐτῷ ἕως ἑπτάκις ²² λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς οὐ λέγω σοι ἕως ἑπτάκις ἀλλ᾽ ἕως ἑβδομηκοντάκις ἑπτά ²³ διὰ τοῦτο ὡμοιώθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ βασιλεῖ ὃς ἠθέλησεν συνᾶραι λόγον μετὰ τῶν δούλων αὐτοῦ ²⁴ ἀρξαμένου δὲ αὐτοῦ συναίρειν προσηνέχθη αὐτῷ εἷς ὀφειλέτης μυρίων ταλάντων ²⁵ μὴ ἔχοντος δὲ αὐτοῦ ἀποδοῦναι ἐκέλευσεν αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ πραθῆναι καὶ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ τέκνα καὶ πάντα ὅσα εἶχεν καὶ ἀποδοθῆναι ²⁶ πεσὼν οὖν ὁ δοῦλος προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγων κύριε μακροθύμησον ἐπ᾽ ἐμοί καὶ πάντα σοι ἀποδώσω ²⁷ σπλαγχνισθεὶς δὲ ὁ κύριος τοῦ δούλου ἐκείνου ἀπέλυσεν αὐτόν καὶ τὸ δάνειον ἀφῆκεν αὐτῷ ²⁸ ἐξελθὼν δὲ ὁ δοῦλος ἐκεῖνος εὗρεν ἕνα τῶν συνδούλων αὐτοῦ ὃς ὤφειλεν αὐτῷ ἑκατὸν δηνάρια καὶ κρατήσας αὐτὸν ἔπνιγεν λέγων ἀπόδος μοι ὁ τι ὀφείλεις ²⁹ πεσὼν οὖν ὁ σύνδουλος αὐτοῦ εὶς τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ παρεκάλει αὐτὸν λέγων μακροθύμησον ἐπ᾽ ἐμοί καὶ πάντα ἀποδώσω σοι ³⁰ ὁ δὲ οὐκ ἤθελεν ἀλλὰ ἀπελθὼν ἔβαλεν αὐτὸν εἰς φυλακὴν ἕως οὗ ἀποδῷ τὸ ὀφειλόμενον ³¹ ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ σύνδουλοι αὐτοῦ τὰ γενόμενα ἐλυπήθησαν σφόδρα καὶ ἐλθόντες διεσάφησαν τῷ κυρίῳ ἀυτῶν πάντα τὰ γενόμενα ³² τότε προσκαλεσάμενος αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ λέγει αὐτῷ δοῦλε πονηρέ πᾶσαν τὴν ὀφειλὴν ἐκείνην ἀφῆκά σοι ἐπεὶ παρεκάλεσάς με ³³ οὐκ ἔδει καὶ σὲ ἐλεῆσαι τὸν σύνδουλόν σου ὡς καὶ ἐγώ σὲ ἠλέησα ³⁴ καὶ ὀργισθεὶς ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ παρέδωκεν αὐτὸν τοῖς βασανισταῖς ἕως οὗ ἀποδῷ πᾶν τὸ ὀφειλόμενον αὐτῷ ³⁵ οὕτως καὶ ὁ πατήρ μου ὁ ἐπουράνιος ποιήσει ὑμῖν ἐὰν μὴ ἀφῆτε ἕκαστος τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τῶν καρδιῶν ὑμῶν τὰ παραπτώματα αὐτῶν

   ¹ καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ ἰησοῦς τοὺς λόγους τούτους μετῆρεν ἀπὸ τῆς γαλιλαίας καὶ ἦλθεν εἰς τὰ ὅρια τῆς ἰουδαίας πέραν τοῦ ἰορδάνου ² καὶ ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ ὄχλοι πολλοί καὶ ἐθεράπευσεν αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ ³ καὶ προσῆλθον αὐτῷ οἱ φαρισαῖοι πειράζοντες αὐτὸν καὶ λέγοντες αὐτῷ εἰ ἔξεστιν ἀνθρώπῳ ἀπολῦσαι τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ κατὰ πᾶσαν αἰτίαν ⁴ ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς οὐκ ἀνέγνωτε ὅτι ὁ ποιήσας ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἐποίησεν αὐτούς ⁵ καὶ εἶπεν ἕνεκεν τούτου καταλείψει ἄνθρωπος τὸν πατέρα καὶ τὴν μητέρα καὶ προσκολληθήσεται τῇ γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔσονται οἱ δύο εἰς σάρκα μίαν ⁶ ὥστε οὐκέτι εἰσὶν δύο ἀλλὰ σὰρξ μία ὃ οὖν ὁ θεὸς συνέζευξεν ἄνθρωπος μὴ χωριζέτω ⁷ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ τί οὖν μωσῆς ἐνετείλατο δοῦναι βιβλίον ἀποστασίου καὶ ἀπολῦσαι αὐτήν ⁸ λέγει αὐτοῖς ὅτι μωσῆς πρὸς τὴν σκληροκαρδίαν ὑμῶν ἐπέτρεψεν ὑμῖν ἀπολῦσαι τὰς γυναῖκας ὑμῶν ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς δὲ οὐ γέγονεν οὕτως ⁹ λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι ὃς ἂν ἀπολύσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ εἰ μὴ ἐπὶ πορνείᾳ καὶ γαμήσῃ ἄλλην μοιχᾶται καὶ ὁ ἀπολελυμένην γαμήσας μοιχᾶται ¹⁰ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ εἰ οὕτως ἐστὶν ἡ αἰτία τοῦ ἀνθρώπου μετὰ τῆς γυναικός οὐ συμφέρει γαμῆσαι ¹¹ ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς οὐ πάντες χωροῦσιν τὸν λόγον τοῦτον ἀλλ᾽ οἷς δέδοται ¹² εἰσὶν γὰρ εὐνοῦχοι οἵτινες ἐκ κοιλίας μητρὸς ἐγεννήθησαν οὕτως καὶ εἰσὶν εὐνοῦχοι οἵτινες εὐνουχίσθησαν ὑπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων καὶ εἰσὶν εὐνοῦχοι οἵτινες εὐνούχισαν ἑαυτοὺς διὰ τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν ὁ δυνάμενος χωρεῖν χωρείτω ¹³ τότε προσηνέχθη αὐτῷ παιδία ἵνα τὰς χεῖρας ἐπιθῇ αὐτοῖς καὶ προσεύξηται οἱ δὲ μαθηταὶ ἐπετίμησαν αὐτοῖς ¹⁴ ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν ἄφετε τὰ παιδία καὶ μὴ κωλύετε αὐτὰ ἐλθεῖν πρός με τῶν γὰρ τοιούτων ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ¹⁵ καὶ ἐπιθεὶς αὐτοῖς τὰς χεῖρας ἐπορεύθη ἐκεῖθεν ¹⁶ καὶ ἰδού εἷς προσελθὼν εἶπεν αὐτῷ διδάσκαλε ἀγαθε τί ἀγαθὸν ποιήσω ἵνα ἔχω ζωὴν αἰώνιον ¹⁷ ὁ δὲ εἰπεν αὐτῷ τί με λέγεις ἀγαθόν οὐδεὶς ἀγαθός εἰ μὴ εἷς ὁ φεός εἰ δὲ θέλεις εἰσελθεῖν εἰς τὴν ζωὴν τήρησον τὰς ἐντολάς ¹⁸ λέγει αὐτῷ ποίας ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν τὸ οὐ φονεύσεις οὐ μοιχεύσεις οὐ κλέψεις οὐ ψευδομαρτυρήσεις ¹⁹ τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα καί ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν ²⁰ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ νεανίσκος πάντα ταῦτα ἐφυλαξάμην ἐκ νεότητός μου τί ἔτι ὑστερῶ ²¹ ἔφη αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς εἰ θέλεις τέλειος εἶναι ὕπαγε πώλησόν σου τὰ ὑπάρχοντα καὶ δὸς πτωχοῖς καὶ ἕξεις θησαυρὸν ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ δεῦρο ἀκολούθει μοι ²² ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ νεανίσκος τὸν λόγον ἀπῆλθεν λυπούμενος ἦν γὰρ ἔχων κτήματα πολλά ²³ ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι δυσκόλως πλούσιος εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν ²⁴ πάλιν δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν εὐκοπώτερόν ἐστιν κάμηλον διὰ τρυπήματος ῥαφίδος διελθεῖν ἢ πλούσιον εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ εἰσελθεῖν ²⁵ ἀκούσαντες δὲ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἐξεπλήσσοντο σφόδρα λέγοντες τίς ἄρα δύναται σωθῆναι ²⁶ ἐμβλέψας δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς παρὰ ἀνθρώποις τοῦτο ἀδύνατόν ἐστιν παρὰ δὲ θεῷ πάντα δυνατά ἐστίν ²⁷ τότε ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ πέτρος εἰπεν αὐτῷ ἰδού ἡμεῖς ἀφήκαμεν πάντα καὶ ἠκολουθήσαμέν σοι τί ἄρα ἔσται ἡμῖν ²⁸ ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ὑμεῖς οἱ ἀκολουθήσαντές μοι ἐν τῇ παλιγγενεσίᾳ ὅταν καθίσῃ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐπὶ θρόνου δόξης αὐτοῦ καθίσεσθε καὶ ὑμεῖς ἐπὶ δώδεκα θρόνους κρίνοντες τὰς δώδεκα φυλὰς τοῦ ἰσραήλ ²⁹ καὶ πᾶς ὅς ἀφῆκεν οἰκίας ἢ ἀδελφοὺς ἢ ἀδελφὰς ἢ πατέρα ἢ μητέρα ἢ γυναῖκά ἢ τέκνα ἢ ἀγροὺς ἕνεκεν τοῦ ὀνόματός μου ἑκατονταπλασίονα λήψεται καὶ ζωὴν αἰώνιον κληρονομήσει ³⁰ πολλοὶ δὲ ἔσονται πρῶτοι ἔσχατοι καὶ ἔσχατοι πρῶτοι
