KJV ² And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.

BAN ³ Et ils garderont ce qui doit être gardé pour toi et pour toute la Tente ; seulement ils ne s'approcheront pas des ustensiles du sanctuaire, ni de l'autel, de peur que vous ne mouriez, eux et vous.

KJV ³ And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.

BAN ⁴ Et ils te seront adjoints, et ils garderont ce qui doit être gardé pour la Tente d'assignation, pour tout le service de la Tente. Et aucun étranger n'approchera de vous.

KJV ⁴ And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.

BAN ⁵ Vous aurez la garde du sanctuaire et la garde de l'autel, et il n'y aura plus de colère contre les fils d'Israël.

KJV ⁵ And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.

BAN ⁶ Voici, j'ai pris vos frères les Lévites du milieu des fils d'Israël : ils sont à vous, eux qui ont été donnés à l'Eternel pour faire le service de la Tente d'assignation.

KJV ⁶ And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

BAN ⁷ Et toi, et tes fils avec toi, vous remplirez votre sacerdoce pour tout ce qui concerne l'autel et pour ce qui est derrière le voile ; et vous ferez votre service. Votre sacerdoce est un service que je vous confère comme un don, et l'étranger qui approchera sera mis à mort.

KJV ⁷ Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest's office for everything of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office unto you as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

BAN ⁸ Et l'Eternel dit à Aaron : Voici, je te remets ce qui est prélevé pour moi, en tout ce que consacrent les fils d'Israël ; je te le donne, à toi et à tes fils, comme ta portion, par une ordonnance perpétuelle.

KJV ⁸ And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.

BAN ⁹ Voici ce qui te reviendra des choses très saintes, sauf ce qui doit être consumé : toutes leurs offrandes, toute oblation, tout sacrifice pour le péché et tout sacrifice de réparation par lequel ils me font restitution ; comme choses très saintes, tout cela appartiendra, à toi et à tes fils.

KJV ⁹ This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of their's, every meat offering of their's, and every sin offering of their's, and every trespass offering of their's which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons.

BAN ¹⁰ C'est dans un lieu très saint que tu les mangeras ; tout mâle en mangera ; elles te seront saintes.

KJV ¹⁰ In the most holy place shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.

BAN ¹¹ Ce qui est encore à toi, c'est ce qui est prélevé sur leurs dons, sur toute offrande balancée des fils d'Israël ; je te le donne à toi, à tes fils et à tes filles avec toi, par une ordonnance perpétuelle. Quiconque est pur dans ta maison en mangera.

KJV ¹¹ And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

BAN ¹² Tout le meilleur de l'huile, tout le meilleur du moût et du blé, leurs prémices qu'ils donnent à l'Eternel, je te les donne.

KJV ¹² All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.

BAN ¹³ Les primeurs de tout ce que produit leur pays, qu'ils apporteront à l'Eternel, seront pour toi. Quiconque est pur dans ta maison en mangera.

KJV ¹³ And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it.

BAN ¹⁴ Tout ce qui est dévoué par interdit en Israël sera pour toi.

BAN ¹⁵ Tout premier-né de toute chair, qu'ils offrent à l'Eternel, tant des hommes que du bétail, sera pour toi. Seulement tu libéreras contre rachat le premier-né de l'homme, et tu libéreras contre rachat le premier-né d'un animal impur.

KJV ¹⁵ Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.

BAN ¹⁶ Et quant au rachat, tu les libéreras dès l'âge d'un mois, d'après la taxe, pour cinq sicles d'argent, selon le sicle sacré, qui est de vingt guéras.

KJV ¹⁶ And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.

BAN ¹⁷ Mais le premier-né de la vache, le premier-né de la brebis et le premier-né de la chèvre, tu ne les libéreras pas ; ils sont saints. Tu répandras leur sang sur l'autel, et tu feras fumer leur graisse ; c'est un sacrifice fait par le feu, d'agréable odeur, à l'Eternel.

KJV ¹⁷ But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

KJV ¹⁸ And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are thine.

BAN ¹⁹ Tout ce qui est prélevé sur les choses saintes, ce que les fils d'Israël prélèvent pour l'Eternel, je te le donne, à toi, à tes fils et à tes filles avec toi, par une ordonnance perpétuelle. C'est une alliance de sel, perpétuelle devant l'Eternel, pour toi et pour ta postérité, avec toi.

KJV ¹⁹ All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

BAN ²⁰ Et l'Eternel dit à Aaron : Tu ne posséderas pas dans leur pays, et il n'y aura point de part pour toi au milieu d'eux ; c'est moi qui suis ta part et ton héritage au milieu des fils d'Israël.

KJV ²⁰ And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

BAN ²¹ Et aux fils de Lévi je donne comme héritage toute dîme en Israël, en échange du service qu'ils font, du service de la Tente d'assignation.

KJV ²¹ And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

BAN ²² Et les fils d'Israël n'approcheront plus de la Tente d'assignation, de manière à se charger d'un péché qui serait puni de mort.

KJV ²² Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.

BAN ²³ Et le Lévite fera le service de la Tente d'assignation, et ils porteront leurs fautes. C'est une ordonnance perpétuelle de génération en génération ; ils n'auront point d'héritage au milieu des fils d'Israël.

KJV ²³ But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.

BAN ²⁴ Car la dîme que les fils d'Israël prélèveront pour l'Eternel, je la donne comme héritage aux Lévites ; c'est pourquoi je leur dis qu'ils n'auront point d'héritage au milieu des fils d'Israël.

KJV ²⁴ But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

BAN ²⁵ Et l'Eternel parla à Moïse, en disant :

BAN ²⁶ Tu parleras aux Lévites, et tu leur diras : Lorsque vous recevrez des fils d'Israël la dîme que je vous donne de leur part pour votre héritage, vous en prélèverez le prélèvement de l'Eternel, la dîme de la dîme ;

KJV ²⁶ Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.

BAN ²⁷ et ce prélèvement que vous ferez vous sera compté comme ce qui se prélève du blé de l'aire et de l'abondance du pressoir.

KJV ²⁷ And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress.

BAN ²⁸ C'est ainsi que vous prélèverez, vous aussi, le prélèvement de l'Eternel sur toutes les dîmes que vous recevrez des fils d'Israël, et vous donnerez ce prélèvement de l'Eternel au sacrificateur Aaron.

KJV ²⁸ Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD's heave offering to Aaron the priest.

BAN ²⁹ Sur tous les dons que vous recevrez, vous prélèverez tout le prélèvement de l'Eternel ; sur tout le meilleur, la portion sanctifiée qui en est tirée.

KJV ²⁹ Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it.

BAN ³⁰ Et tu leur diras : Quand vous en aurez prélevé le meilleur, le reste tiendra lieu aux Lévites du produit de l'aire et du produit du pressoir.

KJV ³⁰ Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.

BAN ³¹ Et vous le mangerez en tout lieu, vous et votre maison ; car c'est votre salaire en échange de votre service dans la Tente d'assignation.

KJV ³¹ And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.

KJV ² This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:

BAN ³ Vous la remettrez à Eléazar, le sacrificateur ; on la fera sortir du camp et on l'égorgera devant lui.

KJV ³ And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:

KJV ⁶ And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

KJV ⁷ Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.

BAN ⁸ Et celui qui aura brûlé, la vache lavera ses vêtements dans l'eau et baignera son corps dans l'eau, et il sera souillé jusqu'au soir.

KJV ⁸ And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.

BAN ⁹ Et un homme pur recueillera la cendre de la vache et la déposera hors du camp, en lieu pur ; et elle sera conservée pour l'assemblée des fils d'Israël, comme eau de purification : c'est un sacrifice pour le péché.

KJV ⁹ And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.

BAN ¹⁰ Et celui qui aura recueilli la cendre de la vache lavera ses vêtements et sera souillé jusqu'au soir. Ceci sera, pour les fils d'Israël et pour l'étranger qui séjourne au milieu d'eux, une ordonnance perpétuelle.

KJV ¹² He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

BAN ¹³ Celui qui touchera un mort, le corps d'un homme qui est mort, et qui ne se purifiera pas, souille la Demeure de l'Eternel. Et cet homme sera retranché d'Israël, parce que l'eau de purification n'a pas été répandue sur lui ; il est encore souillé et sa souillure est encore sur lui.

KJV ¹³ Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

KJV ¹⁷ And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

BAN ¹⁹ Et l'homme pur aspergera celui qui est souillé, le troisième et le septième jour, et son péché sera enlevé le septième jour. Et il lavera ses vêtements et se baignera dans l'eau ; et le soir, il sera pur.

KJV ¹⁹ And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.

BAN ²⁰ Et celui qui se sera souillé, et dont le péché ne sera pas enlevé, cet homme sera retranché du milieu de l'assemblée, car il a souillé le sanctuaire de l'Eternel ; l'eau de purification n'a pas été répandue sur lui : il est souillé.

KJV ²⁰ But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

BAN ²¹ Ce sera pour eux une ordonnance perpétuelle. Et celui qui aura fait l'aspersion de l'eau de purification lavera ses vêtements, et celui qui touchera l'eau de purification sera souillé jusqu'au soir.

KJV ²¹ And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.

BAN ²² Et tout ce que touchera celui qui est souillé, sera souillé, et la personne qui le touchera sera souillée jusqu'au soir.

KJV ²² And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.

KJV ³ And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!

BAN ⁴ Et pourquoi avez-vous fait venir l'assemblée de l'Eternel dans ce désert, pour y mourir, nous et notre bétail ?

KJV ⁴ And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?

BAN ⁵ Et pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Egypte, pour nous amener en ce méchant lieu, où l'on ne peut semer, où il n'y a ni figuier, ni vigne, ni grenadier, ni d'eau à boire ?

KJV ⁵ And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.

BAN ⁶ Et Moïse et Aaron se retirèrent de l'assemblée vers l'entrée de la Tente d'assignation. Et ils tombèrent sur leur visage, et la gloire de l'Eternel leur apparut.

KJV ⁶ And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.

BAN ⁷ Et l'Eternel parla à Moïse, en disant :

BAN ⁸ Prends la verge, et convoque l'assemblée, toi et ton frère Aaron. Et vous direz en leur présence au rocher qu'il donne ses eaux, et tu feras sortir pour eux de l'eau du rocher, et tu donneras à boire à l'assemblée et à leur bétail.

KJV ⁸ Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

BAN ⁹ Et Moïse prit la verge de devant l'Eternel, comme l'Eternel le lui avait ordonné.

KJV ⁹ And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.

BAN ¹⁰ Et Moïse et Aaron convoquèrent l'assemblée devant le rocher ; et Moïse leur dit : Ecoutez, rebelles ! Vous ferons-nous sortir de l'eau de ce rocher ?

KJV ¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

BAN ¹¹ Et Moïse leva la main, et frappa deux fois le rocher de sa verge. Et il sortit de l'eau en abondance. Et l'assemblée but, ainsi que le bétail.

KJV ¹¹ And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

BAN ¹² Et l'Eternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron : Parce que vous n'avez pas cru en moi, pour me sanctifier aux yeux des fils d'Israël, vous ne ferez point entrer cette assemblée dans le pays que je lui donne.

KJV ¹² And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

BAN ¹³ Ce sont là les eaux de Mériba, où les fils d'Israël querellèrent l'Eternel, et il se sanctifia en eux.

KJV ¹³ This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.
