¹ De David : lorsqu'il contrefit l'insensé en présence d'Abimélech, et que, chassé par lui, il s'en alla. ² ALEPH. Je veux bénir Yahweh en tout temps ; sa louange sera toujours dans ma bouche. ³ BETH. En Yahweh mon âme se glorifiera : ⁴ GHIMEL. Exaltez avec moi Yahweh, ensemble célébrons son nom ! ⁵ DALETH. J'ai cherché Yahweh, et il m'a exaucé, et il m'a délivré de toutes mes frayeurs. ⁶ HE. Quand on regarde vers lui, on est rayonnant de Joie, et le visage ne se couvre pas de honte. ⁷ ZAÏN. Ce pauvre a crié, et Yahweh l'a entendu, et il l'a sauvé de toutes ses angoisses. ⁸ HETH. L'ange de Yahweh campe autour de ceux qui le craignent, et il les sauve. ⁹ TETH. Goûtez et voyez combien Yahweh est bon ! Heureux l'homme qui met en lui son refuge ! ¹⁰ YOD. Craignez Yahweh, vous ses saints, car il n'y a point d'indigence pour ceux qui le craignent.

   ¹ I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. ² My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. ³ O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. ⁴ I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. ⁵ They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. ⁶ This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. ⁷ The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. ⁸ O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. ⁹ O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. ¹⁰ The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
