KJV ¹ And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

BCC ² et ils se mirent à l'accuser, en disant : "nous avons trouvé que cet homme détourne notre nation en l'empêchant de payer les impôts à César et en disant de lui-même qu'il est Christ-roi."

KJV ² And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

BCC ³ Pilate l'interrogea, disant : "es-tu le roi des Juifs ?" Jésus lui répondit : "tu le dis."

KJV ³ And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

BCC ⁴ Pilate dit aux grands prêtres et aux foules : "je ne trouve rien de coupable en cet homme."

KJV ⁴ Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

BCC ⁵ Mais eux insistaient avec force, disant : "Il soulève le peuple, enseignant par toute la Judée, depuis la Galilée, où il a commencé, jusqu'ici."

KJV ⁵ And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

BCC ⁶ À ces mots, Pilate demanda si l'homme était Galiléen ;

KJV ⁶ When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

BCC ⁷ et apprenant qu'il était de la juridiction d'Hérode, il le renvoya à Hérode, qui, lui aussi, était à Jérusalem en ces jours-là.

KJV ⁷ And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

BCC ⁸ Hérode, en voyant Jésus, se réjouit fort, car depuis longtemps il avait le désir de le voir, pour ce qu'il entendait dire de lui, et il espérait lui voir faire quelque miracle.

KJV ⁸ And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

BCC ⁹ Il lui adressa beaucoup de questions, mais lui ne répondit rien.

KJV ⁹ Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

BCC ¹⁰ Or les grands prêtres et les scribes se trouvaient là, l'accusant avec force.

KJV ¹⁰ And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

BCC ¹¹ Hérode le traita avec mépris, ainsi que ses hommes d'armes, se moqua de lui et, après l'avoir revêtu d'un vêtement de couleur éclatante, il le renvoya à Pilate.

KJV ¹¹ And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

BCC ¹² En ce jour même, Hérode et Pilate devinrent amis, eux qui auparavant étaient en inimitié entre eux.

KJV ¹² And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

BCC ¹⁴ leur dit : "vous m'avez amené cet homme comme détournant le peuple ; or j'ai instruit l'affaire devant vous et je n'ai rien trouvé de coupable en cet homme quant aux choses dont vous l'accusez ;

KJV ¹⁴ Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

BCC ¹⁵ ni Hérode non plus, car il nous l'a renvoyé ; c'est bien qu'il n'a rien fait qui mérite la mort.

KJV ¹⁵ No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

BCC ¹⁶ Je le relâcherai donc après l'avoir fait châtier."

KJV ¹⁶ I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

BCC ¹⁷ Or il était obligé, à chaque fête, de leur relâcher quelqu'un.

KJV ¹⁷ (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

BCC ¹⁸ Mais tous ensemble ils crièrent : "fais mourir celui-ci, et relâche-nous Barabbas !"

KJV ¹⁸ And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

BCC ¹⁹ lequel était en prison à cause d'une sédition qui avait eu lieu dans la ville et d'un meurtre.

KJV ¹⁹ (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

BCC ²⁰ Et de nouveau Pilate, qui désirait relâcher Jésus, s'adressa à eux ;

KJV ²⁰ Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

BCC ²¹ mais ils clamaient, disant : "crucifie ! crucifie-le !"

KJV ²¹ But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

BCC ²² Pour la troisième fois, il leur dit : "qu'a-t-il donc fait de mal ? Je n'ai rien trouvé en lui qui mérite la mort. Donc, après l'avoir fait châtier, je le relâcherai."

KJV ²² And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

BCC ²³ Mais ils insistaient avec de grands cris, demandant qu'il fût crucifié, et leurs cris allaient grandissant.

KJV ²³ And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

BCC ²⁴ Alors Pilate décréta qu'il serait fait selon leur demande.

KJV ²⁴ And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

BCC ²⁵ Il relâcha celui qui avait été mis en prison pour sédition et meurtre, qu'ils demandaient, et il livra Jésus à leur volonté.

KJV ²⁵ And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

BCC ²⁶ Comme ils l'emmenaient, ils saisirent un certain Simon de Cyrène, qui revenait de la campagne, et ils le chargèrent de la croix, pour qu'il la portât derrière Jésus.

KJV ²⁶ And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

BCC ²⁷ Or, il était suivi d'une grande masse du peuple et de femmes qui se frappaient la poitrine et se lamentaient sur lui.

KJV ²⁷ And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

KJV ²⁹ For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

BCC ³⁰ Alors on se mettra à dire aux montagnes : tombez sur nous ! et aux collines : recouvrez-nous !

KJV ³⁰ Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

BCC ³¹ Car, si l'on traite ainsi le bois vert, qu'en sera-t-il du sec ?"

KJV ³¹ For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

BCC ³² On menait aussi deux autres, des malfaiteurs, pour être exécutés avec lui.

KJV ³² And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

BCC ³³ Lorsqu'ils furent arrivés au lieu appelé Calvaire, ils l'y crucifièrent, ainsi que les malfaiteurs, l'un à droite, l'autre à gauche.

KJV ³³ And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

BCC ³⁴ Et Jésus disait : "Père, pardonnez-leur, car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font." Et se partageant ses vêtements, ils les tirèrent au sort.

KJV ³⁴ Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

BCC ³⁵ Le peuple se tenait là et regardait. Même les chefs raillaient, disant : " Il en a sauvé d'autres, qu'il se sauve lui-même, s'il est le Christ de Dieu, l'Élu !"

KJV ³⁵ And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

BCC ³⁶ Les soldats aussi se moquèrent de lui, s'avançant pour lui présenter du vinaigre, et disant :

KJV ³⁶ And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

BCC ³⁷ " Si tu es le roi des Juifs, sauve-toi toi-même !"

KJV ³⁷ And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

BCC ³⁸ Il y avait aussi au-dessus de lui une inscription en caractères grecs, latins et hébraïques : "Celui-ci est le roi des Juifs."

KJV ³⁸ And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

BCC ³⁹ Or, l'un des malfaiteurs, mis en croix l'injuriait, disant : " N'es-tu pas le Christ ? Sauve-toi toi-même et sauve-nous !"

KJV ³⁹ And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

BCC ⁴⁰ Mais l'autre le reprenait, disant : "Tu n'as pas même la crainte de Dieu, toi qui subis la même condamnation !

KJV ⁴⁰ But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

BCC ⁴¹ Pour nous, c'est justice, car nous recevons ce que méritent les choses que nous avons faites ; mais lui n'a rien fait de mal. "

KJV ⁴¹ And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

BCC ⁴² Et il dit : "Jésus, souvenez-vous de moi, quand vous reviendrez avec votre royauté."

KJV ⁴² And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

BCC ⁴³ Et il lui dit : " Je te le dis en vérité, aujourd'hui tu seras avec moi dans le paradis."

KJV ⁴³ And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

BCC ⁴⁴ Il était alors environ la sixième heure, et il se fit des ténèbres sur la terre entière jusqu'à la neuvième heure,

KJV ⁴⁴ And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

BCC ⁴⁵ le soleil s'étant éclipsé, et le voile du sanctuaire se fendit par le milieu.

KJV ⁴⁵ And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

BCC ⁴⁶ Et Jésus clama d'une voix forte : Père, je remets mon esprit entre vos mains." Et, ce disant, il expira.

KJV ⁴⁶ And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

BCC ⁴⁷ Le centurion, ayant vu ce qui s'était passé, glorifia Dieu, disant : "réellement, cet homme était un juste."

KJV ⁴⁷ Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

KJV ⁴⁸ And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

BCC ⁴⁹ Tous ceux de sa connaissance se tenaient à distance, ainsi que les femmes qui l'avaient suivi depuis la Galilée, pour voir (tout) cela.

KJV ⁴⁹ And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

BCC ⁵⁰ Et alors un homme, nommé Joseph, qui était membre du conseil, homme bon et juste,

KJV ⁵⁰ And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:

BCC ⁵¹ ‒ il n'avait donné son assentiment à leur résolution ni à leur acte, ‒ d'Arimathie, ville juive, qui attendait le royaume de Dieu,

KJV ⁵¹ (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

BCC ⁵² cet (homme) alla trouver Pilate pour lui demander le corps de Jésus ;

KJV ⁵² This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.

BCC ⁵³ il le descendit, l'enveloppa d'un linceul, et le déposa dans un sépulcre taillé dans le roc, où personne n'avait encore été mis.

KJV ⁵³ And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.

BCC ⁵⁴ C'était le jour de Préparation, et le sabbat commençait.

KJV ⁵⁴ And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

BCC ⁵⁵ Ayant suivi (Joseph), les femmes qui étaient venues de la Galilée avec (Jésus), considérèrent le sépulcre et comment son corps (y) avait été déposé.

KJV ⁵⁵ And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

BCC ⁵⁶ S'en étant retournées, elles préparèrent des aromates et des parfums ; et, pendant le sabbat, elles demeurèrent en repos, selon le précepte.

KJV ⁵⁶ And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

BCC ¹ Mais le premier jour de la semaine, de grand matin, elles allèrent au sépulcre, portant les aromates qu'elles avaient préparés.

KJV ¹ Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

BCC ² Or elles trouvèrent la pierre roulée de devant le sépulcre ;

KJV ² And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

BCC ³ et, étant entrées, elles ne trouvèrent pas le corps du Seigneur Jésus.

KJV ³ And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

BCC ⁴ Tandis qu'elles étaient perplexes à ce sujet, voici que deux hommes, en vêtement éblouissant, se présentèrent à elles.

KJV ⁴ And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

BCC ⁵ Comme elles étaient prises de peur et inclinaient le visage vers la terre, ils leur dirent : " Pourquoi cherchez-vous parmi les morts celui qui est vivant ?

KJV ⁵ And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

BCC ⁶ Il n'est point ici, mais il est ressuscité. Souvenez-vous de ce qu'il vous a dit, lorsqu'il était encore en Galilée,

KJV ⁶ He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

BCC ⁷ disant que le Fils de l'homme devait être livré aux mains d'hommes pécheurs, être crucifié et ressusciter le troisième jour. "

KJV ⁷ Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

KJV ⁸ And they remembered his words,

BCC ⁹ à leur retour du sépulcre, elles annoncèrent toutes ces choses aux Onze et à tous les autres.

KJV ⁹ And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

BCC ¹⁰ Or c'étaient la Magdaléenne Marie, Jeanne et Marie (mère) de Jacques ; et les autres, leurs compagnes, en disaient autant aux apôtres.

KJV ¹⁰ It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

BCC ¹¹ Et ces paroles leur parurent du radotage et ils ne les crurent point.

KJV ¹¹ And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

BCC ¹² Pierre partit et courut au sépulcre ; et, se penchant, il vit les bandelettes seules ; et il s'en retourna chez lui, s'étonnant de ce qui s'était passé.

KJV ¹² Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

BCC ¹³ Or, ce même jour, deux d'entre eux se rendaient à un bourg, nommé Emmaüs, distant de Jérusalem de soixante stades,

KJV ¹³ And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.

KJV ¹⁴ And they talked together of all these things which had happened.

BCC ¹⁵ Tandis qu'ils causaient et discutaient, Jésus lui-même, s'étant approché, se mit à faire route avec eux ;

KJV ¹⁵ And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

BCC ¹⁶ mais leurs yeux étaient empêchés de le reconnaître.

KJV ¹⁶ But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.

BCC ¹⁷ Il leur dit : "de quoi vous entretenez-vous ainsi en marchant ?" Et ils s'arrêtèrent tout tristes.

KJV ¹⁷ And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

BCC ¹⁸ L'un d'eux, nommé Cléophas, lui dit : "Tu es bien le seul qui, de passage à Jérusalem, ne sache pas ce qui s'y est passé ces jours-ci !"

KJV ¹⁸ And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

BCC ¹⁹ Il leur dit : "quoi ?" Ils lui dirent : "ce qui concerne Jésus de Nazareth, qui fut un prophète puissant en oeuvres et en parole devant Dieu et tout le peuple ;

KJV ¹⁹ And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

BCC ²⁰ et comment nos grands prêtres et nos chefs l'ont livré pour être condamné à mort et l'ont crucifié.

KJV ²⁰ And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

BCC ²¹ Quant à nous, nous espérions que ce serait lui qui délivrerait Israël ; mais, en plus de tout cela, on est au troisième jour depuis que cela s'est passé.

KJV ²¹ But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

BCC ²² Aussi bien, quelques femmes, des nôtres, nous ont jetés dans la stupeur : étant allées de grand matin au sépulcre,

KJV ²² Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;

BCC ²³ et n'ayant pas trouvé son corps, elles sont venues dire même qu'elles avaient vu une apparition d'anges qui disaient qu'il est vivant.

KJV ²³ And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

BCC ²⁴ Quelques-uns de nos compagnons s'en sont allés au sépulcre et ont bien trouvé (toutes choses) comme les femmes avaient dit : mais lui, ils ne l'ont point vu."

KJV ²⁴ And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

BCC ²⁵ Et lui leur dit : "ô (hommes) sans intelligence et lents de coeur pour croire à tout ce qu'ont dit les prophètes !

KJV ²⁵ Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

BCC ²⁶ Ne faillait-il pas que le Christ souffrit cela pour entrer dans sa gloire ?"

KJV ²⁶ Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

BCC ²⁷ Et commençant par Moïse et (continuant) par tous les prophètes, il leur expliqua, dans toutes les Ecritures, ce qui le concernait.

KJV ²⁷ And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

BCC ²⁸ Ils approchèrent du bourg où ils se rendaient, et lui feignit de se rendre plus loin.

KJV ²⁸ And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

BCC ²⁹ Mais ils le contraignirent, disant : "reste avec nous, car on est au soir et déjà le jour est sur son déclin." Et il entra pour rester avec eux.

KJV ²⁹ But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

BCC ³⁰ Or, quand il se fut mis à table avec eux, il prit le pain, dit la bénédiction, puis le rompit et le leur donna.

KJV ³⁰ And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

BCC ³¹ Alors leurs yeux s'ouvrirent, et ils le reconnurent ; et il disparut de leur vue.

KJV ³¹ And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

BCC ³² Et ils se dirent l'un à l'autre : "est-ce que notre coeur n'était pas brûlant en nous, lorsqu'il nous parlait sur le chemin, tandis qu'il nous dévoilait les Écritures ?"

KJV ³² And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

BCC ³³ Sur l'heure même, ils partirent et retournèrent à Jérusalem ; et ils trouvèrent réunis les Onze et leurs compagnons,

KJV ³³ And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,

BCC ³⁴ qui disaient : "réellement le Seigneur est ressuscité, et il est apparu à Simon."

KJV ³⁴ Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.

BCC ³⁵ Et eux de raconter ce qui (s'était passé) sur le chemin, et comment il avait été reconnu par eux à la fraction du pain.

KJV ³⁵ And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

BCC ³⁶ Comme ils discouraient ainsi, lui se trouva au milieu d'eux et leur dit : "Paix à vous !"

KJV ³⁶ And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

BCC ³⁷ Saisis de stupeur et d'effroi, ils croyaient voir un esprit.

KJV ³⁷ But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

BCC ³⁸ Et il leur dit : "pourquoi êtes-vous troublés, et pourquoi des pensées s'élèvent-elles dans vos coeurs ?

KJV ³⁸ And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

BCC ³⁹ Voyez mes mains et mes pieds ; c'est bien moi. Touchez-moi et constatez, car un esprit n'a ni chair ni os, comme vous voyez que j'en ai."

KJV ³⁹ Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

BCC ⁴⁰ Et ce disant, il leur montra ses mains et ses pieds.

KJV ⁴⁰ And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

BCC ⁴¹ Comme ils ne croyaient pas encore à cause de leur joie et qu'ils étaient dans l'étonnement, il leur dit : "avez-vous ici quelque chose à manger ?"

KJV ⁴¹ And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

BCC ⁴² Ils lui donnèrent un morceau de poisson grillé.

KJV ⁴² And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

BCC ⁴³ Il le prit et en mangea devant eux.

KJV ⁴³ And he took it, and did eat before them.

BCC ⁴⁴ Il leur dit : "c'est bien là ce que je vous ai dit quand j'étais encore avec vous : qu'il fallait que tout ce qui est écrit de moi dans la loi de Moïse, les Prophètes et les Psaumes s'accomplît."

KJV ⁴⁴ And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

KJV ⁴⁷ And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

BCC ⁴⁸ Vous êtes témoins de ces choses.

KJV ⁴⁸ And ye are witnesses of these things.

BCC ⁴⁹ Et voici que je vais envoyer sur vous ce qui a été promis par mon Père. Quant à vous, demeurez dans la ville jusqu'à ce que vous soyez d'en haut revêtus de force."

KJV ⁴⁹ And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

BCC ⁵⁰ Et il les emmena jusque vers Béthanie, et, levant les mains, il les bénit.

KJV ⁵⁰ And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

KJV ⁵¹ And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

KJV ⁵² And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

BCC ⁵³ Et ils étaient continuellement dans le temple, louant et bénissant Dieu.

KJV ⁵³ And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
