BAN ²¹ Et l'Eternel Dieu fil tomber un profond assoupissement sur l'homme, qui s'endormit, et il prit une de ses côtes et referma la chair à sa place,

KJV ²¹ And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

WLC ²¹ וַיַּפֵּל֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהִ֧ים ׀ תַּרְדֵּמָ֛ה עַל־ הָאָדָ֖ם וַיִּישָׁ֑ן וַיִּקַּ֗ח אַחַת֙ מִצַּלְעֹתָ֔יו וַיִּסְגֹּ֥ר בָּשָׂ֖ר תַּחְתֶּֽנָּה׃

BAN ²² et de la côte qu'il avait prise de l'homme, l'Eternel Dieu forma une femme, et il l'amena vers l'homme.

KJV ²² And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

WLC ²² וַיִּבֶן֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהִ֧ים ׀ אֶֽת־ הַצֵּלָ֛ע אֲשֶׁר־ לָקַ֥ח מִן־ הָֽאָדָ֖ם לְאִשָּׁ֑ה וַיְבִאֶ֖הָ אֶל־ הָֽאָדָֽם׃

BAN ²³ Et l'homme dit : Celle-ci cette fois est os de mes os et chair de ma chair ; celle-ci sera appelée femme parce qu'elle a été prise de l'homme.

KJV ²³ And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

WLC ²³ וַיֹּאמֶר֮ הָֽאָדָם֒ זֹ֣את הַפַּ֗עַם עֶ֚צֶם מֵֽעֲצָמַ֔י וּבָשָׂ֖ר מִבְּשָׂרִ֑י לְזֹאת֙ יִקָּרֵ֣א אִשָּׁ֔ה כִּ֥י מֵאִ֖ישׁ לֻֽקֳחָה־ זֹּֽאת׃

BAN ²⁴ C'est pourquoi l'homme laissera son père et sa mère et il s'attachera à sa femme, et ils deviendront une seule chair.

KJV ²⁴ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

WLC ²⁴ עַל־ כֵּן֙ יַֽעֲזָב־ אִ֔ישׁ אֶת־ אָבִ֖יו וְאֶת־ אִמּ֑וֹ וְדָבַ֣ק בְּאִשְׁתּ֔וֹ וְהָי֖וּ לְבָשָׂ֥ר אֶחָֽד׃
