KJV ¹⁸ Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

KJV ¹⁹ Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

KJV ²¹ And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

LSG ²¹ elle enfantera un fils, et tu lui donneras le nom de Jésus ; c'est lui qui sauvera son peuple de ses péchés.

KJV ²² Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

KJV ²³ Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

LSG ²³ Voici, la vierge sera enceinte, elle enfantera un fils, et on lui donnera le nom d'Emmanuel, ce qui signifie Dieu avec nous.

KJV ²⁴ Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

LSG ²⁴ Joseph s'étant réveillé fit ce que l'ange du Seigneur lui avait ordonné, et il prit sa femme avec lui.

KJV ²⁵ And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

KJV ¹ Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

KJV ² Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

KJV ³ When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

LSG ³ Le roi Hérode, ayant appris cela, fut troublé, et tout Jérusalem avec lui.

KJV ⁴ And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

LSG ⁴ Il assembla tous les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes du peuple, et il s'informa auprès d'eux où devait naître le Christ.

KJV ⁵ And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

KJV ⁶ And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

LSG ⁶ Et toi, Bethléhem, terre de Juda, Tu n'es certes pas la moindre entre les principales villes de Juda, Car de toi sortira un chef Qui paîtra Israël, mon peuple.

KJV ⁷ Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

LSG ⁷ Alors Hérode fit appeler en secret les mages, et s'enquit soigneusement auprès d'eux depuis combien de temps l'étoile brillait.

KJV ⁸ And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

LSG ⁸ Puis il les envoya à Bethléhem, en disant: Allez, et prenez des informations exactes sur le petit enfant ; quand vous l'aurez trouvé, faites-le-moi savoir, afin que j'aille aussi moi-même l'adorer.

KJV ⁹ When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

KJV ¹⁰ When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

KJV ¹² And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

KJV ¹³ And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

LSG ¹³ Lorsqu'ils furent partis, voici, un ange du Seigneur apparut en songe à Joseph, et dit: Lève-toi, prends le petit enfant et sa mère, fuis en Égypte, et restes-y jusqu'à ce que je te parle ; car Hérode cherchera le petit enfant pour le faire périr.

KJV ¹⁴ When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

LSG ¹⁴ Joseph se leva, prit de nuit le petit enfant et sa mère, et se retira en Égypte.

KJV ¹⁵ And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

LSG ¹⁵ Il y resta jusqu'à la mort d'Hérode, afin que s'accomplît ce que le Seigneur avait annoncé par le prophète: J'ai appelé mon fils hors d'Égypte.

KJV ¹⁶ Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

KJV ¹⁹ But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

LSG ¹⁹ Quand Hérode fut mort, voici, un ange du Seigneur apparut en songe à Joseph, en Égypte,

KJV ²⁰ Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.

KJV ²¹ And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

KJV ⁷ But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

KJV ⁸ Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

KJV ⁹ And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

KJV ¹⁰ And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

LSG ¹¹ Moi, je vous baptise d'eau, pour vous amener à la repentance ; mais celui qui vient après moi est plus puissant que moi, et je ne suis pas digne de porter ses souliers. Lui, il vous baptisera du Saint Esprit et de feu.

KJV ¹² Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

KJV ¹³ Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

KJV ¹⁶ And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

KJV ⁴ But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

LSG ⁴ Jésus répondit: Il est écrit: L'homme ne vivra pas de pain seulement, mais de toute parole qui sort de la bouche de Dieu.

KJV ⁵ Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

LSG ⁵ Le diable le transporta dans la ville sainte, le plaça sur le haut du temple,

KJV ⁶ And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

LSG ⁶ et lui dit: Si tu es Fils de Dieu, jette-toi en bas ; car il est écrit: Il donnera des ordres à ses anges à ton sujet ; Et ils te porteront sur les mains, De peur que ton pied ne heurte contre une pierre.

KJV ⁷ Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

LSG ⁷ Jésus lui dit: Il est aussi écrit: Tu ne tenteras point le Seigneur, ton Dieu.

KJV ⁸ Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

LSG ⁸ Le diable le transporta encore sur une montagne très élevée, lui montra tous les royaumes du monde et leur gloire,

KJV ⁹ And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

LSG ⁹ et lui dit: Je te donnerai toutes ces choses, si tu te prosternes et m'adores.

KJV ¹⁰ Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

LSG ¹⁰ Jésus lui dit: Retire-toi, Satan ! Car il est écrit: Tu adoreras le Seigneur, ton Dieu, et tu le serviras lui seul.

KJV ¹¹ Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

KJV ¹² Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

KJV ¹⁶ The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

KJV ²² And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

KJV ²³ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

KJV ²⁴ And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

KJV ⁶ Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

LSG ⁶ Heureux ceux qui ont faim et soif de la justice, car ils seront rassasiés !

KJV ⁷ Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

LSG ⁷ Heureux les miséricordieux, car ils obtiendront miséricorde !

KJV ¹¹ Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

KJV ¹² Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

KJV ¹³ Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

KJV ¹⁴ Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

KJV ¹⁵ Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

KJV ²¹ Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

LSG ²¹ Vous avez entendu qu'il a été dit aux anciens: Tu ne tueras point ; celui qui tuera mérite d'être puni par les juges.

KJV ²² But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

LSG ²² Mais moi, je vous dis que quiconque se met en colère contre son frère mérite d'être puni par les juges ; que celui qui dira à son frère: Raca ! mérite d'être puni par le sanhédrin ; et que celui qui lui dira: Insensé ! mérite d'être puni par le feu de la géhenne.

KJV ²³ Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

LSG ²³ Si donc tu présentes ton offrande à l'autel, et que là tu te souviennes que ton frère a quelque chose contre toi,

KJV ²⁴ Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

LSG ²⁴ laisse là ton offrande devant l'autel, et va d'abord te réconcilier avec ton frère ; puis, viens présenter ton offrande.

KJV ²⁵ Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

KJV ²⁸ But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

LSG ²⁸ Mais moi, je vous dis que quiconque regarde une femme pour la convoiter a déjà commis un adultère avec elle dans son coeur.

KJV ²⁹ And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

LSG ²⁹ Si ton oeil droit est pour toi une occasion de chute, arrache-le et jette-le loin de toi ; car il est avantageux pour toi qu'un seul de tes membres périsse, et que ton corps entier ne soit pas jeté dans la géhenne.

KJV ³⁷ But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

KJV ⁴² Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

LSG ⁴² Donne à celui qui te demande, et ne te détourne pas de celui qui veut emprunter de toi.

KJV ⁴³ Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

KJV ⁴⁴ But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

KJV ⁴⁶ For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

LSG ⁴⁶ Si vous aimez ceux qui vous aiment, quelle récompense méritez-vous ? Les publicains aussi n'agissent-ils pas de même ?

KJV ⁴⁷ And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

LSG ⁴⁷ Et si vous saluez seulement vos frères, que faites-vous d'extraordinaire ? Les païens aussi n'agissent-ils pas de même ?

KJV ⁴⁸ Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

LSG ⁴⁸ Soyez donc parfaits, comme votre Père céleste est parfait.

KJV ¹ Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

LSG ¹ Gardez-vous de pratiquer votre justice devant les hommes, pour en être vus ; autrement, vous n'aurez point de récompense auprès de votre Père qui est dans les cieux.

KJV ² Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

LSG ² Lors donc que tu fais l'aumône, ne sonne pas de la trompette devant toi, comme font les hypocrites dans les synagogues et dans les rues, afin d'être glorifiés par les hommes. Je vous le dis en vérité, ils reçoivent leur récompense.

KJV ²¹ For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

LSG ²¹ Car là où est ton trésor, là aussi sera ton coeur.

KJV ²² The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

LSG ²² L'oeil est la lampe du corps. Si ton oeil est en bon état, tout ton corps sera éclairé ;

KJV ²³ But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

LSG ²³ mais si ton oeil est en mauvais état, tout ton corps sera dans les ténèbres. Si donc la lumière qui est en toi est ténèbres, combien seront grandes ces ténèbres !

KJV ²⁴ No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

LSG ²⁴ Nul ne peut servir deux maîtres. Car, ou il haïra l'un, et aimera l'autre ; ou il s'attachera à l'un, et méprisera l'autre. Vous ne pouvez servir Dieu et Mamon.

KJV ²⁵ Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

LSG ²⁵ C'est pourquoi je vous dis: Ne vous inquiétez pas pour votre vie de ce que vous mangerez, ni pour votre corps, de quoi vous serez vêtus. La vie n'est-elle pas plus que la nourriture, et le corps plus que le vêtement ?

KJV ²⁶ Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

LSG ²⁶ Regardez les oiseaux du ciel: ils ne sèment ni ne moissonnent, et ils n'amassent rien dans des greniers ; et votre Père céleste les nourrit. Ne valez-vous pas beaucoup plus qu'eux ?

KJV ²⁷ Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

LSG ²⁷ Qui de vous, par ses inquiétudes, peut ajouter une coudée à la durée de sa vie ?

KJV ²⁸ And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

LSG ²⁸ Et pourquoi vous inquiéter au sujet du vêtement ? Considérez comment croissent les lis des champs: ils ne travaillent ni ne filent ;

KJV ²⁹ And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

LSG ²⁹ cependant je vous dis que Salomon même, dans toute sa gloire, n'a pas été vêtu comme l'un d'eux.

KJV ³⁰ Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

LSG ³⁰ Si Dieu revêt ainsi l'herbe des champs, qui existe aujourd'hui et qui demain sera jetée au four, ne vous vêtira-t-il pas à plus forte raison, gens de peu de foi ?

KJV ³¹ Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

LSG ³¹ Ne vous inquiétez donc point, et ne dites pas: Que mangerons-nous ? que boirons-nous ? de quoi serons-nous vêtus ?

KJV ³² (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

LSG ³² Car toutes ces choses, ce sont les païens qui les recherchent. Votre Père céleste sait que vous en avez besoin.

KJV ³³ But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

LSG ³³ Cherchez premièrement le royaume et la justice de Dieu ; et toutes ces choses vous seront données par-dessus.

KJV ³⁴ Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

LSG ³⁴ Ne vous inquiétez donc pas du lendemain ; car le lendemain aura soin de lui-même. A chaque jour suffit sa peine.

KJV ¹ Judge not, that ye be not judged.

LSG ¹ Ne jugez point, afin que vous ne soyez point jugés.

KJV ² For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

LSG ² Car on vous jugera du jugement dont vous jugez, et l'on vous mesurera avec la mesure dont vous mesurez.

KJV ³ And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

LSG ³ Pourquoi vois-tu la paille qui est dans l'oeil de ton frère, et n'aperçois-tu pas la poutre qui est dans ton oeil ?

KJV ⁴ Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

LSG ⁴ Ou comment peux-tu dire à ton frère: Laisse-moi ôter une paille de ton oeil, toi qui as une poutre dans le tien ?

KJV ⁵ Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

LSG ⁵ Hypocrite, ôte premièrement la poutre de ton oeil, et alors tu verras comment ôter la paille de l'oeil de ton frère.

KJV ⁶ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

LSG ⁶ Ne donnez pas les choses saintes aux chiens, et ne jetez pas vos perles devant les pourceaux, de peur qu'ils ne les foulent aux pieds, ne se retournent et ne vous déchirent.

KJV ⁷ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

KJV ⁸ For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

KJV ⁹ Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

LSG ⁹ Lequel de vous donnera une pierre à son fils, s'il lui demande du pain ?

KJV ¹¹ If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

LSG ¹¹ Si donc, méchants comme vous l'êtes, vous savez donner de bonnes choses à vos enfants, à combien plus forte raison votre Père qui est dans les cieux donnera-t-il de bonnes choses à ceux qui les lui demandent.

KJV ¹² Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

LSG ¹² Tout ce que vous voulez que les hommes fassent pour vous, faites-le de même pour eux, car c'est la loi et les prophètes.

KJV ¹³ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

LSG ¹³ Entrez par la porte étroite. Car large est la porte, spacieux est le chemin qui mènent à la perdition, et il y en a beaucoup qui entrent par là.

KJV ¹⁴ Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

LSG ¹⁴ Mais étroite est la porte, resserré le chemin qui mènent à la vie, et il y en a peu qui les trouvent.

KJV ¹⁵ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

LSG ¹⁵ Gardez-vous des faux prophètes. Ils viennent à vous en vêtement de brebis, mais au dedans ce sont des loups ravisseurs.

KJV ¹⁶ Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

LSG ¹⁶ Vous les reconnaîtrez à leurs fruits. Cueille-t-on des raisins sur des épines, ou des figues sur des chardons ?

KJV ¹⁷ Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

LSG ¹⁷ Tout bon arbre porte de bons fruits, mais le mauvais arbre porte de mauvais fruits.

KJV ¹⁸ A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

LSG ¹⁸ Un bon arbre ne peut porter de mauvais fruits, ni un mauvais arbre porter de bons fruits.

KJV ¹⁹ Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

LSG ¹⁹ Tout arbre qui ne porte pas de bons fruits est coupé et jeté au feu.

KJV ²⁰ Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

LSG ²⁰ C'est donc à leurs fruits que vous les reconnaîtrez.

KJV ²¹ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

LSG ²¹ Ceux qui me disent: Seigneur, Seigneur ! n'entreront pas tous dans le royaume des cieux, mais celui-là seul qui fait la volonté de mon Père qui est dans les cieux.

KJV ²² Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

LSG ²² Plusieurs me diront en ce jour-là: Seigneur, Seigneur, n'avons-nous pas prophétisé par ton nom ? n'avons-nous pas chassé des démons par ton nom ? et n'avons-nous pas fait beaucoup de miracles par ton nom ?

KJV ²³ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

LSG ²³ Alors je leur dirai ouvertement: Je ne vous ai jamais connus, retirez-vous de moi, vous qui commettez l'iniquité.

KJV ²⁴ Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

LSG ²⁴ C'est pourquoi, quiconque entend ces paroles que je dis et les met en pratique, sera semblable à un homme prudent qui a bâti sa maison sur le roc.

KJV ²⁵ And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

LSG ²⁵ La pluie est tombée, les torrents sont venus, les vents ont soufflé et se sont jetés contre cette maison: elle n'est point tombée, parce qu'elle était fondée sur le roc.

KJV ²⁶ And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

LSG ²⁶ Mais quiconque entend ces paroles que je dis, et ne les met pas en pratique, sera semblable à un homme insensé qui a bâti sa maison sur le sable.

KJV ²⁷ And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

LSG ²⁷ La pluie est tombée, les torrents sont venus, les vents ont soufflé et ont battu cette maison: elle est tombée, et sa ruine a été grande.

KJV ²⁸ And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
