KJV ¹¹ And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

KJV ¹⁴ And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

BCC ¹⁵ Je vous le dis en vérité : il y aura moins de rigueur, au jour du jugement, pour le pays de Sodome et de Gomorrhe que pour cette ville.

KJV ¹⁵ Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

KJV ¹⁹ But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

BCC ²⁰ Car ce n'est pas vous qui parlerez, c'est l'Esprit de votre Père qui parlera en vous.

KJV ²⁰ For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

KJV ²² And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

BCC ²³ Lorsqu'on vous poursuivra dans cette ville, fuyez dans une autre. En vérité, je vous le dis, vous n'aurez pas achevé (de parcourir) les villes d'Israël ; avant que le Fils de l'homme ne soit venu.

KJV ²³ But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

BCC ²⁴ Il n'y a pas de disciple au-dessus du maître, ni de serviteur au-dessus de son seigneur.

KJV ²⁴ The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

BCC ³⁵ Car je suis venu séparer le fils de son père, la fille de sa mère, et la bru de sa belle-mère ;

KJV ³⁵ For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

KJV ³⁶ And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

BCC ⁵ les aveugles voient, les boiteux marchent, les lépreux sont guéris, les sourds entendent, les morts ressuscitent, les pauvres sont évangélisés.

KJV ⁵ The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

BCC ⁶ Heureux celui pour qui je ne serai pas une occasion de chute !"

KJV ⁶ And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

KJV ¹¹ Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

KJV ¹⁶ But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,

KJV ²¹ Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

BCC ⁴ comme il entra dans la maison de Dieu et mangea les pains de proposition, qu'il ne lui était pas permis de manger, non plus qu'à ceux qui étaient avec lui, mais aux prêtres seuls ?

KJV ⁴ How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

BCC ⁵ Ou n'avez-vous pas lu dans la Loi que, le jour du sabbat, les prêtes, dans le temple violent le sabbat sans se rentre coupables ?

KJV ⁵ Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

BCC ⁶ Or, je vous dis qu'il y a ici plus grand que le temple.

KJV ⁶ But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

BCC ⁷ Si vous aviez compris ce que veut dire : Je veux la miséricorde et non le sacrifice, vous n'auriez pas condamné des innocents.

KJV ⁷ But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

BCC ⁸ En effet le Fils de l'homme est maître du sabbat."

KJV ⁸ For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

BCC ⁹ Et, ayant quitté ce lieu, il s'en vint à leur synagogue.

KJV ⁹ And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

BCC ¹⁰ Or, il se trouvait (là) un homme qui avait une main sèche, et ils lui demandèrent : "est-il permis de guérir, le jour du sabbat ?" pour pouvoir l'accuser.

KJV ¹⁰ And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

BCC ¹¹ Il leur dit : "quel sera celui d'entre vous, qui n'ayant qu'une brebis, si elle tombe dans une fosse un jour de sabbat, ne la prendra pour la retirer ?

KJV ¹¹ And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

BCC ¹² Or, combien un homme vaut plus qu'une brebis ! Il est donc permis de faire le bien le jour du sabbat."

KJV ¹² How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

KJV ¹⁵ But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

BCC ²² On lui amena alors un possédé aveugle et muet, et il le guérit, de sorte que le muet parlait et voyait.

KJV ²² Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

KJV ⁵ Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

KJV ³⁹ The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

BCC ⁴⁰ Comme on ramasse l'ivraie et qu'on la brûle dans le feu, ainsi en sera-t-il à la consommation du siècle.

KJV ⁴⁰ As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
